Applied Behavioral Analysis: In-home "ABA Therapy"
ABA has been proven to be the most effective method of autism intervention. We use the Verbal Behavior Therapy type derived by behaviorist B.F. Skinner. By design, this type of therapy motivates a child or adolescent by connecting words with their purpose.
Blue Giraffe's in-home ABA therapy allows your child to act natural in their natural environment. This allows our therapist to address the critical behavioral challenges as they are happening. Thus, creating a seamless program that can be integrated into your child's daily routines and family dynamic.
Blue Giraffe provides highly experienced and trained Behavior Assistants or Registered Behavior Technicians to provide the services in-home to the children or adolescent. Our BA's and RBT's are closely supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst who create thorough and comprehensive plans that are tailored to your child's individual needs.
The comprehensive program is designed to teach the children new skills and reduce negative behavior. The program is developed by the BCBA after the initial assessment and a curriculum intervention plan is developed with data analysis and categorization. Every therapy session is 1:1, meaning you can rest assure our therapist is working solely with one child at a time.
